How do I clean the inside storage bin?When the unit is empty, the inside of the unit can be cleaned by removing the lid and reaching into the unit. Apply a pet safe cleaning solution to a paper towel or rag and wipe the walls of the units to clean. Allow to air dry before refilling with food.

What serving sizes does this support? Will you offer smaller or larger serving size bowls?Houndsy currently offers bowls in the following sizes: ½ cup, ¾ cup, 1 cup, 1 ½ cups, 2 cups, 2 ½ cups, 3 cups, and 4 cups.

What kind of dog food does this support?The Kibble Dispenser has been tested with a wide variety of dry dog foods. The unit is rated to store and dispense most major dry dog food brands. If you have oversized or odd-shaped kibble, please email hello@houndsy.com with your kibble brand, and we'll confirm if it's compatible.

I have 2 big dogs and wanted an elevated feeder but couldn’t find one I liked well enough. Found these and appreciated being able to store food in them as well as having elevated feeders. This storage/dispenser meets all Michigan licensing standards & requirements as it keeps pet food away from children and has a safety mechanism so young children from accessing stored food. Houndsy has made feedings quicker and eliminated bending over and retrieving/placing dish in crate. Thank-You for a sophisticated beautiful product.

Having a dog that is a free feeder can be very convenient, but does also have its drawbacks. Mainly, I sometimes underestimate her overnight appetite and then find an empty bowl in the morning. Now my problem has been solved with the Houndsy Kibble Dispenser!
Naturally, it doesn't remind me to check her bowl, but it does allow me to easily top it off in the evening or at any time. Additionally, I currently feed her in an out of the way corner behind the dryer so it used to be an awkward maneuver for me to scoop kibble out of a sack. Now I can just reach over and easily pull the lever.
The dispenser is quite attractive and would be at home out in the open. It's a bit of a shame that it's not currently out on display, but I may rearrange things once I complete some projects. I will at least stage a photo shoot!
There was obvious care taken in the manufacturing of the dispenser and the fit and finish are top notch. The lever action is quite smooth. The top hatch is clever and simple to open for those of us with opposable thumbs. It really feels like it will last for a long time.
The packaging design was wonderful! Everything was packed securely and arrived in perfect condition. The cardboard box, liners, trays, and box corner reinforcements really show that every detail has been considered. There was no wasted space, no wasted materials or excess branding packaging. Clearly all the details have been considered.
